John Todd – is a 1985 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. He served over 7 years as a commissioned officer in the US Army to include six consecutive years at Ft. Bragg, NC. He served in Airborne units as a paratrooper and was an Army aviator. He has served as the CEO for multiple companies to include multiple Inc 500 companies, and is the founder and CEO for both Alliance Careers and Veteran Waste Solutions.
John Todd has been in the waste industry for 30 years. He has led multiple companies and supervised over 150 separate municipal contracts. These contracts range in size from Greenfield, Oklahoma to the recycling contract for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During this time, he has never had a municipal contract terminate and not be extended or renewed.
He has been married to his West Point classmate, Virginia, for 38 years and is proud father of six daughters and grandfather of 7 children. His oldest two daughters and two son-in-laws are also West Point graduates and served multiple combat deployments in various military units to include the Ranger Regiment, 10th Special Forces Group, 82nd Airborne Division, 10th Mountain Division, 4th Infantry Division, and 16th MP Brigade. His youngest daughter graduates from West Point in 2023 and will be serving in the 10st Airborne Division.
